Scholarships
LUNA was created in 2023 thanks to the passion and generosity of a small family foundation committed to very small organizations.
Their commitment continues to this day. Their support is augmented by the LUNA Scholarship Fund. One of the things we ask of our scholarship awardees is to “pay it forward” within two years of completion. We believe that if you apply the lessons that you receive in our programs, you will “level-up” and raise more money than before. Our past participants have been so grateful for the experience, that they happily “pay it forward".
Scholarships are available to those organizations that:
- Are incorporated, have 501(c)3 status or pending (for US organizations) or have a fiscal sponsor.
- Have at the minimum number of board members required by the state in which they are incorporated, who are not related.
- Are raising less than $250,000 (US) from individuals annually.
- Share LUNA's commitment to the idea that purpose-drive organizations are at their best when they reflect the diversity of their communities, and welcome and treat everyone equally.
